I am a Brazilian guitarist & singer living and performing samba and bossa nova (to name a few) in Eugene, Oregon United States. I perform as a soloist and with my band Sun Bossa Quintet (also trio, quartet, sextet). Together with the layers of percussion and melodies, the music has a certain jazz accent, which adds an extra appeal to it ("Influence of Jazz", a bossa by Brazilian Carlos Lyra highlights the influences of jazz in Brazilian music.) Sun Bossa's music invokes many emotions and can be appreciated by anyone. We perform in theaters, restaurants, and other public and private events.
